Diagnosing failed or underperforming inverters and microinverters, and replacing them where needed.

Reconnecting offline gateways, restoring app access, and getting production data reporting again.

Written findings & quote
You get a clear explanation of what we found and what the repair will cost, before any work begins.
Repair & recommissioning
We complete the work, test the system, and confirm it is producing and reporting again.
Ongoing O&M
Long-term support, not a one-time visit
Scheduled maintenance
Periodic inspections of panels, mounts, wiring, and roof penetrations.
System performance review
Checking production against expectations over time.
Monitoring & alerts
Keeping your monitoring connected so issues surface early.
Documentation
Equipment records, findings, and service history for your system, useful for warranty claims and a future sale of the property.
Warranty & manufacturer support
Warranty claims, handled correctly
Many solar components carry long manufacturer warranties that still apply after an installer closes. Where applicable, Genesis Solar can help identify your equipment, document the problem, and coordinate with the manufacturer on a warranty claim. We install and service Enphase microinverter systems regularly.

Common service questions
Do you service systems installed by other companies?
Yes. We service many residential and commercial systems regardless of who installed them, including systems whose installer is no longer in business.
What does a service visit cost?
It depends on the system and the problem. We explain the diagnostic fee up front and provide a written repair quote before any repair work begins.
Will you take over my old installer's warranty?
No. We can service your system, but we don't assume another company's warranty or contract. Manufacturer warranties on your equipment may still apply, and we can help with those claims where applicable.
My monitoring app stopped working. Is my system broken?
Not necessarily. Monitoring often drops because of a gateway or internet issue while the panels keep producing. A remote review or a quick visit can tell the difference.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes. We offer scheduled inspections, performance reviews, and monitoring support for residential and commercial systems.
